Mt420 R82515 modulator is a top class device designed for insertion of additional RF channels in MATV /shared antenna systems. The channels can carry signals from CCTV cameras, DVD/media players, satellite/DVB-T receivers, etc. The device has two independent signal paths, so it is possible to introduce signals from two video/audio sources on RF channels within the same or in different TV bands. The output signals can then be distributed in large MATV systems - in multifamily buildings, hotels, public buildings, etc.
The standard of the RF signals can be selected from multiple options - B/G/D/K/I/L/Au. The maximum output level can be set to 90 dBuV, within the frequency range 110-862 MHz. The device has been designed and manufactured according to EN 50083-5.
The unit can be installed on a wall (with the wall mount), or placed on universal DIN rail R82538 in a 19" RACK cabinet. The latter solution is usually used in the case of MATV/SMATV headends with a number of modules.
The twin modulator can be powered with a 12 VDC power supply with minimum current capacity of 0.45 A. In the case of a greater number of these and other units, the best choice is the dedicated power supply DR-60-12 R82532.
