Details
The ULTIPOWER 2224af PoE switch is a RACK management device ensuring smooth network transmission. It allows connections at speeds of 10, 100, 1000 Mbps. It has 24 RJ45 10/100 Mbps ports supporting automatic connection speed negotiation and 2 RJ45 1000MB/s ports and SFP 100 Mbps (COMBO mode). 24 ports support Power over Ethernet (PoE). The switch automatically detects PD devices operating under the IEEE 802.3af standard and supplies them with power. This makes it possible to extend network coverage where there is no access to outlets or power lines, and where there is a need for access points, IP cameras, IP phones, etc.
Key features:
- 24 10/100 Mbps ports
- 24 PoE ports, data transfer and device power over a single cable
- 2 RJ45 1000 Mbps ports
- 2 SFP 1000 Mbps ports
- manageable switch
- VLAN support
- no installation or configuration of the device required
- PoE power supply up to 15.4W for each PoE port
- support for PoE-powered devices operating in accordance with IEEE802.3af
- supports auto-learning and auto-aging of MAC addresses
- LEDs for connection status, speed, activity and power supply

802.3af vs. 802.3at
The most popular PoE 802.3af power supply standard is used, for example, in IP cameras. It enables devices to be powered with an input voltage of 44 to 57 [V] with a maximum power of 15.4 [W]. The 802.3at standard enables power supply to devices with an input voltage of 50 - 57 [V] and a maximum power of 25.5 [W]. Examples of devices powered by the 802.3at standard are printers, rotating IP cameras and switches.
ULTIPOWER is a brand of high quality IP network devices intended for Ethernet networks, also with Power over Ethernet (PoE) option. All devices of this brand are characterized by maximum performance combined with high reliability.
