The Key-Tool-Kit is a universal installation kit including high-quality tools such as precision fiber cleaver, other tools and accessories necessary for proper terminating/splicing optical fibers, and visual fault locator KeyFibre® with single-mode SC/UPC patchcord and sleeve. The unique design and modern construction of KeyFibre® family of optical splices and connectors with transparent bodies allows the installer to verify directly whether the connection is made in a proper way. No red light in the splice area means a perfect connection.
The versatile set of tools comes with a handbook for installation of mechanical splices and mechanical splice connectors from KeyQuick family. The contents of the installation kit are described below.
