The device converts color video signal (CVBS) or S-VHS/S-VIDEO signal to VGA standard. It allows to connect CCTV cameras, SAT receivers, DVD players, VCRs, or any other source of standard video signal to a typical VGA monitor. In addition, a computer still may be used, due to pass-through concept of VGA signal path. The "SOURCE" button on the top side allows to choose the signal input.

The control panel is also equipped with other buttons: POWER, RESET, MENU and "UP", "DOWN" navigation keys. Brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, mode (dynamic, static), resolution and refresh rate settings are available in the menu. All information concerning the type of source or change in parameter settings is displayed on screen (OSD). RESET button restores factory settings.

The converter supports 1280x1024, 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768 resolution, at 60Hz and 75Hz refresh rate.

The main application of the converter is fast and reliable monitoring of video from the selected device while performing regular computer work. The converter is an external device working independently and is installed between a computer and its monitor. It does not require any software, allowing cooperation even with sealed computers.

The included remote control allows easy operation of the device.
