AMP 1/2R is an video signal amplifier equipped with amplification control for each output. It has gain control (just marked 'Gain') for overall signal amplification, and high frequency correction ('HF GAIN') that is a valuable tool for equalizing cable's attenuation. The attenuation value depends on the length of the cable installed as well as its type. In addition, it varies at different frequencies. In long wire sections the attenuation may be so high that no video signal transmission is possible. The amplifier will solve this problem.
