The wireless HDMI extender enables the transmission of video and audio from an HDMI source to up to four receivers without the need for signal cables between the devices. This solution is designed for multimedia installations, conference rooms, educational facilities, digital signage systems and anywhere else where the same HDMI signal needs to be transmitted to several screens.

The device supports resolutions up to 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz, including the standard Full HD 1080p@60 Hz signal. Data is transmitted wirelessly in the 5 GHz band, which ensures good resistance to interference found in the busier 2.4 GHz band.
The system can operate in a 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 or 1:4 configuration. The maximum range for a connection between one transmitter and one receiver is up to 50 m in open space. With a larger number of receivers, the maximum range is 40 metres for two, 35 metres for three and 30 metres for four receivers respectively.
The transmitter is also fitted with a local HDMI Loop Out, allowing a monitor or television situated directly next to the signal source to be connected at the same time. The extender also supports the transmission of 20–60 kHz IR control signals, making it possible to remotely control the source device from the receiver’s installation location.
Where several units are in operation at the same location, a function is available to pair SSIDs and change the transmission channel, thereby minimising mutual interference between the devices.
