PiXORD P410W is indoor wireless Pan/Tilt IP camera capable of transmitting MPEG-4 compressed video and audio through computer network. Its main applications include professional CCTV systems based on IP technology in businesses, offices, stores, shopping molls, industrial plants, government facilities, housing estates, private houses etc.
Capabilities of PiXORD P410W IP camera:
  • integration with any IP monitoring system,
  • remote viewing of images via Internet Explorer from any place in the world,
  • remote management of cameras via Internet Explorer from any place in the world,
  • Pan-Tilt control via Internet Explorer from any place in the world,
  • analog video signal on RCA output, parallel to IP interface,
  • capturing live images (as JPEG) on the computer (any moment during watching video via Internet Explorer),
  • full-duplex audio - listening to the environment and possibility of making announcements / sending sound from client computer,
  • remote recording of video via Internet Explorer,
  • digital zoom during viewing video via Internet Explorer,
  • remote viewing of images via VLC or Quick Time Player,
  • performing programmed actions after motion detection (up to three areas) and/or activation of alarm input:
    • recording of short AVI files or JPEG pictures on SD card,
    • sending short AVI files or JPEG pictures to an ftp server,
    • sending short AVI files or JPEG pictures as e-mail attachment,
  • remote viewing of the frames and short AVI files recorded on SD card,
  • monitoring of Internet connection and registration (on SD card) any abnormalities),
  • viewing of video via PDA / 3GPP,
  • UPnP mode (Universal Plug and Play),
  • Dual Stream mode.
P410W has been equipped with 1/4'' CMOS sensor (video resolution - 420 TVL, sensitivity - 0.5 lx with F2.0 lens). The included fixed lens (only focus adjustment) has 3.6 mm focal length at F2.0. The camera has very sensitive internal microphone. Both the image and sound have DVD-like quality.The LEDs on the front inform the user about camera status and network connection. Two other LEDs placed in Ethernet socket give information on network status and transmission activity. The reset button restores default settings. The camera is also equipped with:
  • 5 VDC input (power from the included AC/DC adapter),
  • RJ45 connector - network interface,
  • RCA connector - analog video output,
  • microphone jack - for connecting external microphone,
  • audio jack - for connecting external speakers,
  • alarm input,
  • alarm output,
  • SD (Secure Digital) interface - for recording of pictures (JPEG) or short video clips (AVI) on motion detection.
The camera has been equipped with Pan-Tilt mechanism, with 270o horizontal (pan) and 120o vertical (tilt) range. There are available six speeds and nine presets (with availability of video between presets), additionally scanning option (pan).
P410 can stream video in MPEG-4 format, with Full D1 resolution (720x576) at 25 fps. Its resolution can be reduced to 4CIF, CIF, or QCIF. It is possible two-way audio transmission (Full Duplex).
In each video format the user can set compression level which influences image quality and bandwidth requirements. Additionally, it is possible to choose CBR or VBR option. The camera can send two streams (Dual Stream mode), but the maximum frame rate (of the main stream) is reduced to 15 fps.
Configuration options of the embedded firmware:
  • remote access to information on camera (firmware version, MAC address),
  • synchronization of date and time with NTP server or computer,
  • defining access rights (administrator, or user/guest),
  • remote update of firmware,
  • remote restart, restoring default settings; saving configuration on remote computer,
  • assignment of IP address from DHCP server or insertion of static parameters (IP address, subnetwork mask, default gateway, DNS server),
  • change of standard ports (camera management, MJPEG, sound: port 80 - http) and MPEG-4 (port 554 - RTSP), UPnP option,
  • PPPoE settings,
  • DynDNS settings,
  • image settings (brightness, contrast, color),
  • settings of both streams: resolution, compression level, VBR or CBR streaming, GOP size, frame rate),
  • audio on/off,
  • PT settings,
  • settings of: motion detection areas, choice of action after motion has been detected in the active areas, choice of file format (JPEG or AVI); pre-alarm and post-alarm options; test of network connection with registration of anomalies on SD card,
  • settings of alarm input and output,
  • choice of destination FTP server for the JPEG picture/AVI file, choice of mail addresses of the source and destination user,
  • remote access to camera log,
  • remote management (viewing, deleting) of the pictures/AVI files recorded on SD card.
The included accessories:
  • AC/DC adapter: 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz / 5 VDC, 2 A;
  • Ethernet patch cable - for connecting the camera to the network;
  • Omnidirectional antenna with SMA connector;
  • Camera bracket for mounting the camera to a ceiling;
  • Mounting accessories.
